ATV crash injures one

Medics took an Aurora man to the hospital Saturday after he was hurt in an ATV accident in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area near Winchester Bay.
Travis Bartelds, 36, was thrown over the handlebars of his 2001 Banshee after riding up a dune and flying over the other side, going 20 feet off the ground, according to a Douglas County Sheriff's Office press release. An ambulance took him to a hospital with a possible leg injury. No further information was available at press time.
