If you're all so educated on the laws regarding disabled folks, then GET A JOB, GET A LIFE, and quit spitting venom and filth all over this website.
You all give Coos County the bad name it desperately needs to lose.

Siser in law,
The only judge here has been you and a lot of outsiders, All Lindas family has done is comment back to the bad things you have said about her and 1 is the comment abbout her and her children. The main question we have asked you after you say Henry did not kill Linda than please tell us who did? There is no way that any of us will believe that this was an accident,or that she fell, she would have had to fall to many times for there to be as much damage that was done,Please stop being in denial so this kid can get the help he needs.

What happened is a terrible thing. It is hard to understand how something like this could happen. It may be true what has been said, that the system failed us all here.
My hope for you is that this case shall serve to make sure that things like this are no longer pushed under the carpet in communities such as ours. It is with heartfelt sympathy that I pray for you in your time of loss.
I thank you for the gift of understanding, and that although it may be too late to save Linda, our world might be fit next time to save someone else - who ever they may be.

There are alot of autistic children in schools. More are being dignosed every day. They are aloud to go to school. They are aloud to go into regular classes and disrupt the class for all the other students. They have melt downs and hurt other people. The next day same thing. The school disrict has to pay for aides make special arrangments to get them to school. Have meetings after meeting to help these kids. there is alot of money put into these kids. So my ? is where should i take my child, who should teach him? IF the schools can spend money on sports and extra programs, why cant we spend the money in helping our children.

“When you have someone who is non-verbal, how do you communicate with them? How do we respond to people with such needs?” he asked. “It’s a challenge for the whole community.”
We can ask ourselves how do we communicate with a deaf person, how do we respond to someone who is blind? We just dont give up on them. There are many disabilities out there that as a community we need to really come together to help these people. They are human beings, and they are getting pushed aside more and more.

Prosecutorial discretion is practised every day in our judicial system, and it would appear that is what occurred in the original matter based upon the DA's statement regarding this fellow's
"mental health disabilities." It would now appear that this discretion is being carried to the opposite end of the spectrum even though, by their own account, this fellow's mental health disabilities would not allow for prosecution the first time around. It would appear that there are real issues in flawed judgment in following this course, and your accounts relating to falling back on limitations within statutes is pure malarky. To now charge this fellow criminally, while considering the DA's original action, is entering a race that cannot be won.

All DA's, including Mr. Frazier, have to comply with the laws that are already in place. If you're unhappy with the current law, you need to be proactive by taking the time to write to your legislators and get the law changed instead of complaining about it on The World's website. Don't blame the DA for complying with the laws as they are written. Contrary to what seems to be the belief of some citizens in this county, (based on what I read on this website) he and/or the judges of this county don't get to just make charging and sentencing guidelines up at will as they go along. They actually don't have a lot of leway and disgretion in many cases. There are specific protocols and guidelines in place they all have to follow. It's their job to be aware of these and stay within those bounds. Educate yourself on what those boundaries are before you go accusing these people of being disinterested in keeping this community safe.

The fact that other ESD employees have been hurt by Cozad over the years, something has to change with this system!

Besides that, what sort of home life did this boy have? Was there violence in the home due to his caretakers being unable to deal with his autistic behavior? Before you judge him why don you find someone in town with an autistic child and ask them how there life is. How they deal with it.
