Fishermen, conservationists at odds

Fishermen clash with conservationists in October as the state considered 20 marine reserve proposals along the Oregon Coast, including a reserve at Cape Arago.

Fishermen say the reserves threaten their livelihoods. Conservationists, funded by Washington, D.C.,-based groups, counter that reserves would protect natural resources.
