A Cottage Grove woman’s vehicle got stuck in deep water Monday as she drove along Beach Loop Road in Bandon.

According to a Bandon Police log, at about 2:04 p.m., police responded to a 911 call about a vehicle being stranded in flood waters near milepost 2. The driver, Shannon Weber, 44, was not hurt in the incident. Her vehicle was towed from the water. Water was covering Beach Loop Road just south of Devils Kitchen.

Other reports of flooding came from areas from South Coos County up to North Douglas County.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s log, Elkridge Creek overflowed onto Loon Lake Road.

No other stranded vehicles were reported.
