More often than not the employer would not close the season until long after the families had to return home to Texas or Arizona so their kids could go back to school.
Can you imagine the UAW allowing that to happen with the auto workers?

The soldiers returning home will either still be in the military, receive unemplyment and top notch job placement assistance, return to school at little or no cost to them or simply return to their old jobs.
