Ponocho Clark’s “Metal Horse” took best of show in the 3-D category at Florence Events Center’s Celebrate Art juried art show. Throughout December, the Florence Events Center will show case artwork from the 2008 “Celebrate Arts!” The exhibit will feature 75 works that won either Best of Show, Merit Award or Honorable Mention. The show continues unitl Jan. 2, 2009. The center’s galleries are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The event center and gallery are at 715 Quince St. in Florence.
