Deputies arrested a Lakeside man Wednesday on assault charges.

According to the Coos County Sheriff’s Office press log, at about 9:25 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a woman being assaulted with a whisky bottle at 67765 Spinreel Road. Deputies arrested Daniel S. Greiner, 52, on charges of attempted second-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, interfering with a 911 call, first-degree burglary, menacing and unlawful use of a weapon. He was taken to Coos County jail, where he was being held Friday on $222,500 bail.

Gold Beach

Oregon State Police troopers and Gold Beach police arrested a Gold Beach man Wednesday on burglary and robbery charges.

According to the Curry County arrest log, at about 8:14 p.m., Paul D. Stinson, 44, was booked at the jail on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and a violation of a restraining order. He was being held on $230,000 bail Friday.
