Your reference to Obama being in office is irrelevant to the discussion. I'm speaking about Coos Bay and North Bend being two of the greatest eyesores on the Oregon Coast - something that many people seem to take pride in. And it all starts with a lack of jobs. It's OK to hammer the LNG project, but what is your alternative. All I see from people around here is negativity.

Sorry to inform you, but Bob Braddock has already told the public that outsiders will be brought in? Where you been or maybe you are scared now that Obama is in office this LNG SCAM will NOT make it now? Sorry but do your homework but telling nonsense tails in here!

A) No jobs locals will qualify for!
B) Lng is twice as expensive as the gas used today by Oregon citizens!
C) 400 Oregon citizens will lose 80 foot wide section of their land!
D) Lng ship having a 2 mile hazard burn zone (When/if it catches fire & blows up) traveling with 1/2 mile of populated areas that would directly affect 17K people!
E) 230 Miles of 36 inch pipeline that could leak & cause out of control forest fire affecting thousands of people!
F) Air polluter (Flames on top of hugh towers at Jordan Cove burn & pollutes air 24/7/365 days a year)
G) Makes the USA more depenedent on foreign countries for our energy needs (Failed practice in the 1970's with OPEC)!
H) Oregon gets a little tax revenue that will only be dumped into the failed projects going on like the rail line, New Airport, welfare system, etc.!
& the list can & does go on & on for this Lng SCAM that Oregon doesn't need or want!
