Group offers math, reading help for adults

Saturday, November 29, 2008 |
The Legacy Project, a local nonprofit organization, is seeking adults who have trouble with reading, writing or math to participate in its basic skills improvement program. The program, which is free, is open to anyone in the Coos Bay/North Bend area.
Participants will be given a basic skills assessment to determine a starting point. The assessment will be followed by a customized one-to-one tutoring regimen, which may focus on a single subject or all three, depending upon the results and the goals of the student.
