Meet this week’s dog and cat available for adoption at the Coos County Animal Shelter in The World’s feature, “Pets of the Week.”

n Dog of the Week is Nelly, an 8-month-old female Husky/Border Collie mix. She's a very sweet girl and knows how to shake, sit and stay. As Dog of the Week, Nelly’s adoption includes a low-cost spay. No. is D08-258,
n Cat of the Week is Cruiser, an adult male domestic longhair kitty. He is a big boy, but very sweet and lovable. As Cat of the Week his adoption includes a low cost neuter. No. is C729,
The Coos County Animal Shelter is located at 92960 Southport Road in Coos Bay. Shelter hours are from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
