Industrial enterprises and development will be the focus of this year’s Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Economic Outlook Forum.

The event is scheduled from 6:45 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, at The Mill Casino-Hotel. It is a joint project of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, the Southwestern Oregon Community College Business Development Center and US Bank.

The forum features former U.S. Bancorp Economist John Mitchell, a picture of our regional economy by Guy Tauer of the Oregon Employment Department and presentations on economic issues of importance. Areas of focus this year will be the South Coast Development Council, Oregon Resources Corporation and an Oregon International Port of Coos Bay hosted panel on railroad opportunities plus the popular feature “Home Grown Success.”

The chamber is seeking sponsors. The major sponsor cost is $300. Major sponsors can be listed in the Chamber’s December and January Newsletters and Chamber Quarterly published by The World, listed as a sponsor on attendees’ agenda and registration forms, a display table if desired, the opportunity to place promotional material in the registration packet, a special thank you announcement by emcee, listings on ads and banners during the event and one complimentary breakfast.
