Police cited a North Bend man after he kicked about 45 orange traffic cones into the northbound lane of U.S. Highway 101 on the McCullough Bridge early Saturday morning.
According to the North Bend police log, at about 1:42 a.m., a 911 caller reported a man was on the bridge about mid-span kicking cones into the roadway. Wade A. Sewell Jr., 19, was cited on a minor in possession of alcohol by consumption charge and issued warnings for disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief.
Before officers released Sewell, they returned him to the bridge to pick up the cones, the log said.
