“The Dining Room” opens at 7 p.m. Friday, Hales Center for the Performing Art, Southwestern Oregon Community College Coos Bay campus. Show runs Fridays and Saturdays through Nov. 22. North Bend High School’s Hesperian Players will present “Story Theatre,” a collection of comedic vignettes from Grimm Brothers’ collection and Aesop’s fables, adapted for the stage by Paul Sills.
