Wayne and Sharon Nelson of Coquille are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Ann Nelson to Terry Martell Jr., son of Terry and Sue Martell of Myrtle Point.

Stephanie is a 1998 graduate of Coquille High School and received a Bachelor in Landscape Architecture in 2006 from the University of Oregon. She is pursuing prerequisites for the position of licenser at HGE Inc., Architects, Engineers, Surveyors & Planners in Coos Bay.

Terry is a 1996 graduate of Myrtle Point High School and received his Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University in 2001. He is a supervisor at Roseburg Forest Products in Coquille.

Stephanie and Terry met in the fall 2005 through mutual friends and have been dating ever since. When they are taking a break from remodeling their first home, they enjoy hunting, fishing and camping together. Both have active roles in the community and are involved in high school athletics. The couple is planning a January wedding and will live in their newly remodeled home in Myrtle Point.
