This weekend

“Into the Woods,” based on fairy tales, opens at 7 p.m., Florence Events Center. The show has 23 cast members and is a Tony Award-winning musical. Show is part of the Florence Fall Festival of Arts. $15. (541) 997-1994.

“Murder at Pirates Cove,” a mystery dinner theater, starts at 7 tonight, 3 p.m. Saturday, The Mill Casino-Hotel. $70. Must be 21.

“AnySwing Goes,” which features music from the 1940s, starts at 8 p.m., Little Theatre on the Bay. Other shows are planned for 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. $10. 756-4336, http://www.ltob.net.

Bandon Feeds the Hungry Variety Show starts at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sprague Community Theater. Acts include Harmonica Ray Silvia, Gold Coast Chorus and Tatiana Havill. $12, $10, students and seniors. 347-1585.

“The Dining Room” opens at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, Hales Center for the Performing Art, Southwestern Oregon Community College Coos Bay Campus. Show runs Fridays and Saturdays through Nov. 22. North Bend High School’s Hesperian Players will present “Story Theater,” a collection of comedic vignettes from Grimm Brothers’ Collection and Aesop’s Fables, adapted for the stage by Paul Sills. Show runs Friday, Nov. 14, through Sunday, Nov. 23, at the NBHS Theater. Show times are at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. 756-8328.

“Beauty and the Beast” opens at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, Harbor. Show runs for two weekends. $10, $7 students and seniors, $5 children under 5. (541) 661-2473.
