Pets of the Week

Meet this week’s dog and cat available for adoption at the Coos County Animal Shelter in The World’s feature, “Pets of the Week.”
A reference number is provided with the photo for each pet. This week’s pets are:
n Dog of the Week is Rupert, a stray young adult male Lab/Curly Coated Retriever mix. He’s sweet and loves to play with toys. As Dog of the Week, Rupert’s adoption includes a low-cost neuter. His case No. is 08-359.
n Cat of the Week is Fuzz, a young adult female shorthair. She’s a sweet and outgoing kitty. As Cat of the Week, Fuzz’s adoption includes a low-cost spay. Her case No. is C676.
The Coos County Animal Shelter is located at 92960 Southport Road in Coos Bay. Shelter hours are from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
