Little Theatre on the Bay will hold a haunted theater event from 4 to 9 p.m. The cost is $3.
Paranormal pumpkins
The Mountain View Farms pumpkin patch in Lakeside will host a haunted attraction from 7 to 10 tonight.

Ambush
The band Ambush will play at Wanda’s Food & Beverage House at 9 p.m. There is no cover charge. For more information, call 267-6293.
Dance
Contra dance
The Sixes Grange will be hosting a contra (barn) dance and chili feed at 6 tonight. The band Willow Creek will entertain with old time fiddle and country music, while Stacey Rose does the calling. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 18. The chili dinner, which includes corn bread and a drink, is $5 per person. All proceeds will benefit the grange building repair fund. Swingin’
The Coos Historical & Maritime Museum will host a Big Band dance and salute to veterans from 7 to 11 p.m. at the North Bend Community Center. The dance will feature the music of the Frosty West Swing Sextet. The dance is open to the public. Admission is $10 for Coos County Historical Societ members and military veterans, and $12 for non-members. Tickets are available at the museum and the door. For more information, call 756-6320.

Dance lessons will be offered from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bandon Odd Fellows Hall on state Highway 42 South, just east of U.S. Highway 101. A dance follows the lessons from 8:30 to 10 p.m. There is no charge, but donations will be accepted. For more information, call 756-6998 or 347-5626.
