Fright night
Friday, October 31, 2008 2:04 PM PDT
The scariest night of the year turns some people's front yards into fright sites.
A yard near the intersection of Ingersoll Street and Johnson Avenue in Coos Bay features dead pirates, scattered bones and a skeleton escaping his subterranean abode. For a brighter look at the holiday, some homes are brightly decorated with lights. In North Bend Scott, Mindy and Dylan Walling have gave their home its sixth annual Halloween makeover. Their hilltop house, at the corner of Virginia Avenue and Johnson Street, is displaying about 75 separate decorations this year.
