The South Slough Estuary will offer South Slough Birding for $1 from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday.  Naturalist Chuck Holbert will lead a mushroom foraging trip for $20 Saturday from 8:30 a.m to 4 p.m. For more information, visit http://www.southsloughestuary.org.

A Christmas collectibles sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at College Park Community Church, 2548 Newmark St. in North Bend. Items included are for the Furry Friends Therapy Dogs fundraiser. For more information, call 266-7440.

The American Legion No. 34 will host a craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 1421 Airport Way in North Bend. For more information, call 269-1838.

The Friends of the Coos Bay Public Library will hold a book sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the library. A pre-sale for members will be held at 9 a.m.  Saturday. Most books will be 25 cents each, or five for one dollar. For more information, call 269-1101.

The Coquille Firefighters are inviting all past/retired Coquille Firefighters, along with their significant others, to a reunion dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Coquille Firestation No. 1. For more information and to register, call 396-2232.

Classes on body awareness are offered from 11 a.m. to noon Saturdays at the First Presbyterian Church, 438 Elrod Ave., in Coos Bay.
