n Bandon police arrested a Bandon man Tuesday on an assault charge.
According to the Bandon police log, at about 10 p.m., officers responded to a report of a woman being assaulted at 835 Division St. N.E.
They arrested Robert J. Davis, 45, on a charge of fourth-degree domestic assault. He was taken to Coos County jail, where he remained this morning on $7,500 bail.
n Coos County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Myrtle Point man Tuesday on menacing-related charges.
According to a Coos County Sheriff’s Office press release, at about 8 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a suicidal subject with a firearm threatening people at 98862 Middle Creek Road.
They arrested Jerrad E. Crosiar, 23, on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of menacing, two counts of reckless endangering, first-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree domestic assault. Crosiar was taken to Coos County jail, where he is expected to be released on his own recognizance today, a jail spokeswoman said.
Deputies also confiscated a .40-caliber pistol, live rounds and an empty shell casing.
