Police apprehend four suspects in school locker theft
Four 17-year-old boys may be charged on burglary and theft charges stemming from a case Friday in which someone stole personal items from lockers during the Marshfield High School football game.

 House fires keep Coos Bay crew racing
COOS BAY — Firefighters got a whiff of the real thing Wednesday, when their department was called out to douse two house fires. Both buildings suffered thousands of dollars in damage.

Crash leads to seatbelt citation
A two-vehicle accident snarled traffic in downtown Coos Bay on Tuesday, though emergency responders didn’t need to take anyone to the hospital.
