Searching for Cherokee ancestry

Residents of Coos, Curry and Douglas counties that believe they have Cherokee Indian heritage are wanted. Ancestry research is needed to verify heritage of each individual, which will come at no cost. Chief Storm Cloud James S. Parrick of Reedsport will be recruiting individuals that may be eligible for medical and educational benefits and financial assistance through The American Cherokee Federacy of Georgia.
