EUGENE (AP) — Eugene Civic Stadium has been added to the list of historic places in Oregon.

Built in 1938, the stadium is the only known example of a Depression-era ballpark remaining in Oregon.

The Oregon State Historic Preservation Office announced this week that the stadium has been added to the National Register of Historic Places.
