One injured in two-vehicle crash

A Coos Bay woman went to the hospital for injuries she recieved in a two-vehicle crash on Friday in Coos Bay.
According to a Coos Bay Police press release, at about 12:30 p.m., a 911 caller reported the accident at the intersection of Ocean Boulevard and LaClair Street.
At the scene, police officers and emergency medical personnel found a 2000 Toyota Camry, driven by Wyman Schiro, 79, of Coos Bay, and a 2005 Dodge Magnum, driven by Nerbert Nevdal, 73, of Coos Bay, collided.
Neither driver was injured, however, 78-year-old Coos Bay resident Mildred Schiro, a passenger in the Camry, was taken to Bay Area Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Tuesday morning, a hospital spokeswoman said she had been treated and released.
No citations were issued.
