Gary Keith Roberts and Lisa Renee Blackburn, both of Eugene, were married on July 19, 2008, in Coos Bay by the Rev. John Lloyd.

The bride is the daughter of Stacy and Randy Blackburn of Coos Bay. She is a 2000 graduate of Marshfield High School and 2002 graduate of Southwestern Oregon Community College. Lisa is a certified ophthalmic assistant at Oregon Eye Associates in Eugene.

The groom is the son of Alene and Gary Roberts of Eugene. He is a 1996 graduate of Marshfield High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Oregon, where he majored in political science. Gary works at Cottage Grove High School as social studies teacher and he is the head coach of the football team.

The bridal party included Shannon Snoddy, friend of the bride, of Coos Bay as Matron of Honor and Andrew Roberts, brother of the groom, of Eugene as Best Man. Bridesmaids were Wendy Wright, sister of the groom, of Ukiah, Calif., and Heidi VanOver, friend of the bride, of Redmond. Attendants were Ryan Weehunt, friend of the groom, of Portland and Guy Craig, friend of the groom, of Eugene.

The couple spent their honeymoon on Nassau Island in the Bahamas.

They have made their home in Eugene.
