Saturday, October 18, 2008 |
Michelle Schultz, a North Bend High School graduate, was the 2008 recipient of a scholarship offered yearly by the North Bend Garden Club. Michelle plans to attend Oregon State University and major in pre-veterinary medicine.
The North Bend Garden Club raises money for the scholarships through a Christmas Sale featuring fresh greenery wreaths, swags and centerpieces which are crafted by the members, a plant sale on Mothers’ Day weekend and an annual rummage sale.
