The Coos County Public Health Department will be holding the following flu shot clinics on Tuesdays:

n Oct. 21 — 1 to 4 p.m.; Lakeside Lions Club, 890 Bowron Road in Lakeside.

n Oct. 28 — 1 to 4 p.m.; Coos Bay Senior Activity Center, 886 S. Fourth St.

The only insurance coverage accepted will be Medicare and the Oregon Health Plan. A copy of insurance cards must be provided at the time of service. For those self-paying by cash or check only, the price is $28, and a receipt can be provided. For more information, call 756-2020, ext. 522.

Waterfall center

Waterfall Community Health Center is offering flu shots by appointment or by walk in at the North Bend clinic.

The cost for flu shots is set on a sliding scale from $27 to free, depending upon an individual’s health coverage and income.

The clinic, located at 1890 Waite St., is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
