The course is intended to introduce the concepts and practice of mediation, both as a life skill and as a professional service. It will teach a step-by-step process to facilitate collaborative problem-solving.
The training is set 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays, Oct. 30-31, and Nov. 6-7.
The $200 tuition covers all training materials, lunches and snacks. ($100 will be refunded to those who mediate eight cases for Neighbor to Neighbor before Nov. 1.) There will be a $300 tuition charge if taking course for personal development with no intention to mediate in the courts.
