‘Maligned Mannequin’

The show opens Friday and runs for two weekends with Friday and Saturday shows at 7 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

The story takes place in Beverly Hills, Calif. at the St. Vincent’s Finishing School for Girls. Two students are involved in a minor mishap, which jeopardizes the future of the school. One of the students goes missing, then turns up dead.

What follows is a series of panic, mayhem, calamity and laughter as two super sleuths from the local police department try to solve the crime.

The play, written but New Artists co-founder Dan Almich, has all the makings of sidesplitting humor and silliness as found in the “Laurel and Hardy” and “The Pink Panther” movies. Thirteen young actors are involved in the production.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for students, and are available at Bandon True Value Hardware, Chetco Federal Credit Union, by calling the Almichs at 347-2517 and at the door.
