Salvage speakThe Southwest Oregon Chapter of the Professional Engineers of Oregon will hold a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Red Lion Inn’s Coquille Room, 1313 N. Broadway, in Coos Bay. ThursdayManaging stressColette’s is offering a stress management class from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Oct. 23, at 3229 Broadway, Suite H in North Bend. Sunday‘Nutcraker’ auditionsThe Eugene Ballet Company will be enlisting the help of approximately 50 student dancers from the Coos Bay area to complete the cast of December’s “The Nutcracker” production. Auditions will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Pacific School of Dance, 303 D St. in Coos Bay, which is inside the old Eastside School.
A representative from the Eugene Ballet Company will audition the dancers and teach the choreography. Participants must be enrolled in ballet classes.
Preregistration is required. There is a $5 non-refundable registration fee, and forms can be returned to the Pacific School of Dance, no later than Thursday.
“The Nutcracker” will return to Marshfield Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22. For more information, call Deb at 297-0573.
