Article:	Don’t eat the mussels PORTLAND (AP) — Blame it on algae. The Oregon Department of Agriculture on Friday shut down recreational mussel harvesting on the entire coast, from the mouth of the Columbia River to the California border. The closure is due to elevated levels of paralytic shellfish poisoning toxins.
