The following are theft and criminal mischief reports from area police department logs.

Coos Bay

• Oct. 8, 7:24 a.m., someone vandalized a vehicle in the parking lot at Wal-Mart, 2051 Newmark Ave.

• Oct. 8, 8:10 a.m., a student was harassing another student at Marshfield High School, 1098 Ingersoll Ave.

• Oct. 8, 9:40 a.m., someone stole money in the 500 block of Johnson Avenue.

• Oct. 8, 9:47 a.m., three girls were smoking in the parking lot in the 900 block of South 10th Street.

• Oct. 8, 11:12 a.m., illegal camping was reported near the intersection of Thomas and LaClair streets.

• Oct. 8, 12:37 p.m., a shoplifter was reported at Fred Meyer, 1020 S. First St.

• Oct. 8, 2:04 p.m., prescription medication was stolen from Wal-Mart, 2051 Newmark Ave.

• Oct. 8, 4:54 p.m., a woman reported being threatened by another woman at Fred Meyer.

• Oct. 8, 6:49 p.m., mail theft was reported in the 700 block of South Fourth Street.

• Oct. 8, 8:34 p.m., a prowler was reported in the 1400 block of Butler Road.

• Oct. 9, 12:18 a.m., minors were cited for drinking alcohol at Southwestern Oregon Community College, 1988 Newmark Ave.

North Bend

• Oct. 8, 1:49 p.m., a phone scam was reported in the 2000 block of Lincoln Street.

• Oct. 8, 2:33 p.m., a television was stolen from Sears at Pony Village Mall, 1611 Virginia Ave.

• Oct. 8, 7:21 p.m., a can of beer was stolen from Albertsons, 2121 Newmark St.

• Oct. 8, 10:40 p.m., a library card was stolen in the 64400 block of Penny Road.

• Oct. 8, 11:31 p.m., a dispute was reported in the 1000 block of Ohio Street.

Coquille

• Oct. 8, 2:33 p.m., a dispute was reported in the 900 block of North Dean Street.

• Oct. 8, 8:01 p.m., an employee reported being threatened by a customer after refusing to accept food stamps at Safeway, 155 E. First St.

Reedsport

• Oct. 8, 8:27 a.m., a Portland girl who ran away from home was taken into protective custody in the 2300 block of Frontage Road.

• Oct. 8, 6:25 p.m., an employee reported two people attempted to use a counterfeit $20 bill at Price ’n’ Pride, 1300 Highway Ave.

Winchester Bay

• Oct. 8, 4:05 p.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported near milepost 215 of U.S. Highway 101.

Coos County

• Oct. 8, 6:48 a.m., a domestic dispute was reported in the 61200 block of Old Wagon Road.

• Oct. 8, 8:39 a.m., an electric bicycle was stolen from Charleston Marina RV Park, 63402 Kingfisher Road.

• Oct. 8, 10:08 a.m., a dispute was reported at Rotary Park in Myrtle Point.

• Oct. 8, 10:14 a.m., electrical wires were cut and removed in the 63500 block of Boat Basin Drive.

• Oct. 8, 2:01 p.m., an attempted burglary was reported in the 93400 block of Willsey Lane.

• Oct. 8, 5:41 p.m., a woman reported people trying to damage a picnic table at Lakeside County Park boat ramp.

• Oct. 8, 5:58 p.m., someone stole building materials in the 53400 block of Old Broadbent Road.

• Oct. 8, 9:54 p.m., an assault was reported in the 500 block of Kings Avenue.
