Coos Bay police are continuing to investigate an early morning  rollover crash Saturday that sent five people to Bay Area Hospital.

Two men, who were hurt when the 2002 Hyundai left the roadway and flipped on its top, remained in the hospital this morning. David E. Delano Jr., 21, was in good condition and Gregory J. Lentz, 34, was in fair condition, a Bay Area Hospital spokeswoman said.

Coos County District Attorney R. Paul Frasier said this morning he has not decided whether any citations will be issued or charges filed.

The initial investigation revealed the driver, Coos Bay resident Melissa Delano, 26, crashed trying to navigate a curve on U.S. Highway 101 just past the Timber Inn. Five people were in the car.

Frasier said he is waiting on the results of tests sent to the Oregon State Police crime lab to make any decisions regarding the accident.

“It will probably be two to three weeks,” Frasier said.
