The following are theft and criminal mischief reports from area police department logs.
Reedsport
• Oct. 5, 6:45 p.m., someone found the top plate of a set of dentures in a parking lot in the 1400 block of Highway Avenue,
• Oct. 5, 7:59 a.m., someone broke into a vehicle in the 300 block of E. Railroad Avenue.
• Oct. 6, 11:41 a.m., gun shots were reported in the 3000 block of Frontage Road. It turned out there were hunters in the area.
• Oct. 6, 3:20 p.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported in the 800 block of Highway Avenue.
• Oct. 6, 4:46 p.m., a dispute was reported in the 4600 block of South Smith River Road.
• Oct. 6, 7:29 p.m., a horse was loose in the 1900 block of Lower Smith River Road.
Gardiner
• Oct. 3, 8:48 a.m., criminal mischief was reported in the 77200 block of Highway 101.
• Oct. 6, 10:34 p.m., an assault was reported in the 1200 block of Second Street.
Winchester Bay
• Oct. 6, 9:25 a.m., a dog chased a woman in the 300 block of Sunset Drive.
Bandon
• Oct. 4, 5:08 p.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported in the 500 block of Edison Avenue.
Coos County
• Oct. 3, 10:16 a.m., deputies assisted the Department of Human Services with a possible child abuse case in the Lakeside area.
• Oct. 3, 12:41 p.m., a woman reported her boyfriend threw medicine in the toilet during a dispute in the 63600 block of Harriet Road.
• Oct. 3, 1:40 p.m., someone stole a gun out of a vehicle in the 94100 block of Commercial Lane.
• Oct. 3, 1:55 p.m., criminal trespassing was reported in the 92800 block of Libby Lane.
• Oct. 3, 4:37 p.m., a flare gun was stolen from a boat in the Charleston Marina.
n Oct. 3, 6:35 p.m., a McCain-Palin sign was run over again in the 93600 block of Viking Lane.
• Oct. 3, 10:54 p.m., a prowler was reported in the 57300 block of Valley View Road.
• Oct. 4, 2:08 p.m., cedar boughs were stolen in the 91500 block of Dolezal Road.
• Oct. 4, 10:05 p.m., a customer didn’t pay the bill at Hilltop House, 93405 Willsey Lane.
• Oct. 5, 8:57 p.m., six to eight head of cattle were reported at large near milepost 0.5 on Powers Highway.
• Oct. 5, 7:25 p.m., a fight was reported in the 63400 block of Mobilane Way.
• Oct. 5, 5:56 p.m., someone stole a chain saw, generator, pole saw, nail guns and other equipment in the 87500 block of Boyd Lane.
• Oct. 5, 2 p.m., a dispute was reported in the 61800 block of Daniels Creek Road.
• Oct. 5, 10:07 a.m., theft of tires from a flat bed trailer was reported in the 92100 block of Cape Arago Highway.
• Oct. 5, 1:21 a.m., a dispute was reported in the 100 block of South Seventh Street.
• Oct. 6, 7:50 a.m., two cows were loose in the road on Powers Highway.
• Oct. 6, 8:42 a.m., fraud was reported in the 20500 block of state Highway 42.
• Oct. 6, 9:03 a.m., a theft was reported in the 3000 block of South Tenmile Lake.
• Oct. 6, 11:18 a.m., animal abuse was reported in the 57200 block of Parkerburg Road.
• Oct. 6, 11:21 a.m., criminal mischief was reported in the 64400 block of East Bay Road.
n Oct. 6, 12:08 p.m., more than 10 cows were loose in the 63000 block of Ashley Lane.
• Oct. 6, 4:10 p.m., sheep were in the road in the 19600 block of state Highway 42.
• Oct. 6, 9:17 p.m., criminal trespassing was reported in the 69200 block of Sandburg Lane.
• Oct. 6, 10:47 p.m., a dispute was reported in the 100 block of North Eighth Street.
• Oct. 6, 11:33 p.m., someone was yelling in the street in the 800 block of North Lake Road.
• Oct. 7, 1:02 a.m., someone threw a rock through a window of a home in the 59700 block of Roderick Road.
Coos Bay
• Oct. 5, 5:56 a.m., a burglary was reported in the 1600 Applewood Drive.
• Oct. 5, 6:49 a.m., criminal mischief was reported in the 1800 block of Thomas Street.
• Oct. 5, 7:40 a.m., a fight was reported in the 1900 block of Woodland Drive.
• Oct. 5, 12:29 p.m., a family dispute was reported in the 900 block of Garfield Street.
• Oct. 5, 1:52 p.m., people were fighting in the 700 block of F Street.
• Oct. 5, 1:56 p.m., a family dispute was reported in the 100 block of South Empire Boulevard.
• Oct. 5, 2:36 p.m., a family dispute was reported in the 300 block of South 10th Street.
• Oct. 5, 3:53 p.m., people were pounding and kicking a door in the 200 block of Schoneman Street.
• Oct. 5, 5:56 p.m., a generator was stolen from the front yard of a house in the 300 block of North Cammann Street.
• Oct. 5, 11:08 p.m., a family dispute was reported in the 900 block of South Eighth Street.
• Oct. 5, 11:53 p.m., a burglary was reported in the 1800 block of Thomas Street.
• Oct. 6, 12:13 p.m., telephone harassment was reported at Modern Floors, 1910 NW Ocean Blvd.
• Oct. 6, 12:37 p.m., someone stole a camera in the 500 of South Main Street.
• Oct. 6, 1:10 p.m., someone used a counterfeit bill at Knecht Auto Parts, 1517 N. Bayshore Dr.
• Oct. 6, 3:16 p.m., fraud was reported in the 100 block of South Broadway.
• Oct. 6, 6:20 p.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported near the intersection of Newmark Avenue and Schoneman Street.
• Oct. 6, 8:25 p.m., someone stole a dog in the 1100 block of Central Avenue.
• Oct. 7, 12:50 a.m., a dispute was reported in the 100 block of Kruse Avenue.
• Oct. 7, 12:58 a.m., criminal mischief was reported in the 1100 block of Newmark Avenue.
