The Coos Stitchery and Craft Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1290 Thompson Road in Coos Bay. The club will be making a “Potato Baker/ Tortilla Warmer,” so participants are asked to bring one yard of focus fabric, or a half of a yard of two complimentary fabrics, coordinating thread and sewing machine and basic supplies. The meeting will end at 8 p.m. The group will be facilitated by Mark Winders, a Vietnam War veteran. It is a peer-to-peer group. One-on-one meetings also are available.
