Republicans are nothing but crooks

Why would you even consider voting this year for the same bunch of Republicans that have screwed up for the last eight years?

And, don’t be fooled — the same people who helped put George W. Bush in office are working for McCain right now. He’s one of those Republicans who pretends to be a “maverick,” an agent for change. He knows who holds all the cards and is accepting help from the very people who tried to destroy him in 2000.

What have these crooks given you over the years? They gave you inadequate protection on Sept. 11, 2001, despite having intelligence that told them something big was about to go down.

They gave you no information on where the anthrax in the envelopes was coming from until this year. And, it came from our own military labs.

They gave you the ability to relinquish your fundamental constitutional rights, so you could pretend you were safer.

They gave you the right to sign up for military service because there were fewer and fewer American jobs available.

Then they gave you the right to come home physically and mentally messed up and unable to receive adequate health care from the VA.

They gave you the right to buy toys and dog food that weren’t adequately inspected for poisons.

They gave you the right to easily buy homes at exorbitant prices, and then watch the value decline to less than what you paid.

They would never raise your taxes. But, they would waste much of the taxes you do pay on corrupt contractors, both here and in Iraq.

They have allowed our bridges to fall and our libraries to close. The states don’t have enough money to fix them.

However, they have given us the right to borrow so much money from the Chinese that, someday, we’ll probably have to turn the whole country over to them when we can’t pay the money back. (Start learning Chinese now.) Have I missed anything? I’m sure you can think of some things that aren’t right with this country, too.

In November, tell them you are not as stupid as they think you are and vote for anyone but McCain.

Al Capone wrote on Oct 11, 2008 8:53 AM:

As America enters the final weeks of the 2008 Presidential Election a community organization based in CHICAGO named ACORN (with ties to Barack Obama) has come under fire for "POSSIBLE" voter fraud (I for one was shocked). Acorns explanation is possible mistakes by employees and can't help that. Do they think Americans are that stupid? Frankly I believe the Government is that stupid to keep funding these organizations with OUR TAX DOLLARS. When you step back and look at the series of events unfolding it is easy to see that AMERICAN TAX DOLLARS (that lately there are plenty of) have been funding the fix of the "FIX" of the Presidential election.---PLAIN AND SIMPLE---Could it be that the COMMUNITY ORGANIZER has elevated to ORGANIZED CRIME ??? Is Barack Obama Chicago's 21st Century version of Chicago's 20th Century Al Capone??

The degree of misinformation in this letter is absolutely stunning - and I'm a lifelong Independent. That's the problem with this country: too many people watching Jon Stewart and The View for their "serious news." There's so much nescient information here I wouldn't know where to begin to correct her.

Too bad that all the people who really know how to run the country are busy driving taxi cabs and cutting hair." -

The only way the "average Joe Six-pack" is ever going to be represented is if someone from the Independant or Green Party is nominated yet the $ amount for these parties never comes forth. We the People never matter anymore it is We the lobbyists.

It is amusing to see all of these comments from the McCain AND Obama supporters. You all act like your candidate has never done anything to mess up this country. The fact is, each candidate is one side of the same coin. They ALL take money from special interests. They are all some special interests' mouthpiece. The only time they are interested in the needs of the little people, is election time. The truth is, no matter which way we vote this year, we are all screwed.

Do not let Barack Obama become President of the USA.
For the sake of our children and future children.
For the sake of our troops and the war on terrorism.
For the future of this country.
