The Coos County Green and Solar Tour will start at 9 a.m.  The tour will begin at the Broadway Theater, 266 S. Broadway in Coos Bay. For more information, call Heather Lester at 260-1383, or visit http://www.solcoast.com

The Acktion Club will be having a car wash from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Oregon First Community Federal Credit Union, across from Abby’s Pizza.

The Scottsburg Community Service Association will be holding a bake sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bob’s Market on Highway 38.  Proceeds of the sale will be shared between the SCSA and the Scottsburg Rural Fire District to help the district purchase needed supplies and aid area residents in times of need.

A SoulCollage workshop will be offered from 1 to 4:30 p.m.  at South Coast Hospice Education Center. For more information and to register, call Jean Boynton at 267-2693.

The Saints n’ Aints Square and Round Dance Club will be holding their first Saturday casual dance at 7 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 123 Ocean Blvd., Coos Bay. For more information, call Steve or Linda Bell at 266-9714.

A karaoke contest will be held at 7 p.m. at the VFW Hall on Bates Road in Bandon. The cost is $10 per entry. For more information, call Gary Galliano at 297-4828.

Classes on body awareness are offered from 11 a.m. to noon at the First Presbyterian Church, 438 Elrod Ave., in Coos Bay. Easy stretching, yoga postures, qi gung and tai chi will be incorporated into a smooth, gentle program focusing on balance, breathing and posture. For more information, call Dee Hamil at 888-4946.

Dance lessons will be offered from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bandon Grange Farwest Hall on state Highway 42 South, just east of U.S. Highway 101. A dance follows the lessons from 8:30 to 10 p.m.  For more information, call 756-6998 or 347-5626.
