The Southwestern College women’s volleyball team  improved to 10-6 on the season with a 25-10, 26-24, 25-22 victory over visiting Mt. Hood on Friday night.

Kristine Kosinski led the Lakers with 10 kills and seven blocks and Jessica Bond had seven kills and 27 assists.

“This was a great win for these kids,” coach John Speasl said. “Mt. Hood is the returning NWAACC champion and a very good program.”
