Scott Dean Miller and Michelle Nicole Holcomb, both of Coos Bay, were married Aug. 23, 2008, in Lakeside at Tugman State Park, Brian Holcomb, of Clovis, N.M., brother of the bride, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Debbie and Joel Holcomb, both of Coos Bay. Michelle is a 2005 graduate of Marshfield High School and has attended Southwestern Oregon Community College. She works for Maya Graphics in Coos Bay.

The groom is the son of Jeannie and Brian Miller, of Coos Bay. Scott is a 2004 graduate of Marshfield High School and has attended Southwestern Oregon Community College. He works for Miller Custom Woodworking in Coos Bay.

The bridal party included Maid of Honor, Alanna Thompson-Poore, of Coos Bay and Best Man, Cody Everetts, of North Bend. Flower girls were Gracie Peach, cousin of the groom and Jillian Junker, cousin of the bride. Zane Junker, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer. Bridesmaids were Mallory Pennington, of Coos Bay, Whitney Miller, sister of the groom, of Coos Bay and Jessie Macknicki, of Portales, N.M. Attendants were Jason Croff, of Coos Bay, Kurtis Devon, of Palmer, Alaska and Nicholas Holcomb, brother of the bride, of Coos Bay.

The couple spent their honeymoon on a cruise to Mexico.

They have made their home in Coos Bay.
