The rest of the area is certainly not getting anything out of the new terminal, with all its problems.
I just wish Bandon Dunes would step up one of these days and do something for the area that is making them so much money. The people that come there to golf and stay over and eat in there restaurants, do nothing for the other businesses in our area. Bandon Dunes is putting us on the map, but for who, golfers who care nothing about the rest of the area. Flying into an airport with a beautiful terminal and then driving through two towns with empty storefronts and no decent stores to speak of, and then through areas of dumpy houses with garbage in the yards, does not make good impressions on the golfers.
Anyway, I will not be flying out of North Bend any longer. I'll drive to Portland.

I guess the board does not understand most of us have trucks. This is Coos County not PDX. Board wake up and listen to what people are saying.

I will never pay a dime to park at the new airport. This tiny town needs to realize what it is and act accordingly.

I think what the board has not calculated into the picture though is that most of us will resort to having someone drive us to the airport. I think the income they're counting on may never appear.

This is what we get for probably hiring some out of area company to design something for our area. Thats usually what happens around here. And it always turns out to cost way to much money and ends up a disaster in the end.

Boy, they have such 'big ideas' about this very small airport, I cannot conceive how they come up with all these ideas. There is one airline and they built a terminal that should be in a MUCH bigger city than this, put in $1000 plus waste baskets, and everything else expensive that doesn't even work, and now paying to park, in a parking lot that is also rediculous, and hard to get around in.
Where does this community get such idiots anyway. To bad they don't read these comments.....
They don't care what we think, they think they are above us little taxpayers...who pay for everything.

They'll get us one way or another. I will never again give them a dime. I'll pay someone to drive me to Portland.
It's an insult to every taxpayer.
And don't forget, ya can't buy a cup of coffee without cash, three dollah minimum purchase.

And then many people cant find a spot in short term so they have to park in long term...so they have to pay even more money? I think until you have a better parking situation that is monitored you should not charge for parking at all. We didn't cause the problem...you, the board, did!
