CLACKAMAS (AP) — Firefighters from several agencies battled a four-alarm fire last night at a Clackamas wood storage warehouse south of Portland.

The fire at International Wood Products was called in at 8:30 p.m. and reported controlled two hours later.

Firefighters had access problems because of power lines, a concrete theft barrier and railroad tracks in the area.

District Fire Chief Ed Kirchhofer said it is unlikely anything in the building could be saved.

The warehouse held plastic and composite materials plus wood. Authorities set up air monitoring to detect any hazardous fumes.

No cause or damage estimate was immediately available.
