Cranberry Festival schedule

Bandon is seeing red this weekend as the community celebrates its 62nd-annual Cranberry Festival this weekend. Here’s the schedule of events for today and tomorrow.
Today
n 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Ladies Auxiliary Food Fair & Bazaar at the VFW Hall on Bates Road.
n 10 a.m., parade starts in Old Town.
n 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Festival Market features arts, crafts and food, with live music all day in Old Town.
n 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., tractor show in Old Town.
n 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., children’s activity center in Old Town.
n 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Ladies Dew Valley Club quilt viewing and demonstration, 5 miles south of Bandon.
n 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Bandon Quilt Guild quilt show, admission $1, Farwest Hall.
n 1 p.m., Alzheimer’s Walk, sponsored by Heritage Place Assisted Living. All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
n 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., children’s activity center in Old Town.
n 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Lions Steak barbecue, featuring root beer floats and more in The Barn at City Park.
n Cranberry Bowl football games: Bandon vs. Yoncalla, 3 p.m., junior varsity; 5 p.m., varsity.
Sunday
n 8:30 to Noon, Ladies Auxiliary VFW breakfast at VFW Hall on Bates Road.
n 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Bandon Quilt Guild quilt show, admission $1, Farwest Hall.
n 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Festival Market features arts, crafts and food, with live music all day in Old Town.
n 1 to 3 p.m., A.W.E. Show and reception at Southern Coos Hospital. Music, readings by local poets and refreshments provided.
n 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., tractor show in Old Town.
n 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., children’s activity center in Old Town.
n 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Cranberry Festival Golf Challenge at Bandon Dunes.
