Coquille
Coquille police arrested a Nevada man this morning on several drug charges.
According to the Coos Bay police log, at 2:34 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle near the intersection of state Highway 42 and Finley Loop. They arrested the driver, Celis Soriano, 33, of Las Vegas, Nev., on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, possession of marijuana, manufacture of marijuana, delivery of marijuana and possession of cocaine. He was taken to Coos County jail, where he was being held this morning on $207,000 bail.
Coos Bay
Coos Bay police arrested a North Bend man Tuesday on a burglary charge.
According to the Coos Bay Police Department press release, at 2:05 p.m., a man and woman were had just gotten home when they saw a man running out of their house, 810 N. Second St. Police located the suspect and arrested Alexander D. Gatewood, 26, on a charge of first-degree burglary and a probation violation. He was taken to Coos County jail, where he is being held without bail.
Coos Bay police also arrested a Coos Bay woman Tuesday on an assault charge.
Officers responded to conflicting 911 reports of an incident at 528 Whitty St., at 11:55 p.m. After interviewing the two callers, police arrested Mary E. Perry, 25, on a charge of felony fourth-degree domestic assault. She was taken to Coos County jail, where she was being held this morning on $25,000 bail.
Curry County
Curry County deputies arrested a Brookings woman Monday on an aggravated theft charge.
According to a Curry County Sheriff’s Office press release, the Brookings-Harbor Chamber of Commerce reported more than $10,000 had been stolen since January.
Following an investigation, deputies arrested Lisa M. Orozco on a charge of first-degree aggravated theft in connection with the Chamber’s missing funds. She was taken to Curry County jail, where she was booked and later released.
