A 52-year-old man was hurt in a single-vehicle accident on Seven Devils Road on Tuesday.

According to the Coos County Sheriff’s Office press log, at 11:37 a.m., a woman reported a vehicle had gone off the road about five miles from Charleston. Coquille Tribal Police officers responded and an ambulance crew took the driver, Aaron Quider, to Bay Area Hospital. A hospital spokeswoman said Quider was transferred to another hospital, but would not say where he was taken. Coquille Tribal Police were not available for comment before press time.

He was probably the victim of another driver over the center line. What is it with the drivers in this area where they feel that they can drive left of the center line and force other drivers off the road? Drivers on both Libby Lane and Seven Devils Road seen to be the worst. Does somebody have to be killed in a head on accident before the authorities do something about this "bad habbit"? Slow down and save a life.
