Van collides with bus; kids OK

No one was injured when a van ran into the back of a Coos Bay school bus Tuesday near Charleston.
There were still five children on the First Student school bus, when it stopped near the intersection of Libby Lane and Crown Point Road. Shortly thereafter, at about 4 p.m., a 2006 Chevy van rear-ended the bus. Coos County sheriff’s deputies responded, determining there was no damage to either vehicle and everyone, including the bus driver, Patricia Ferguson, 47, of Coos Bay, was fine.
