Are there bodies in the lake?

Q: It may be a rumor, but I heard three teenagers were killed last week when a drug deal went bad and the bodies were dumped in Empire Lakes. Then someone else told me it was actually five teens that died and two were found on Ocean Boulevard. Is this true?

A: Well, the first part of the question is true. It is definitely a rumor.

Capt. Gary McCullough of the Coos Bay Police Department said there is no truth to the tale.

“Rest assured we do not have anyone out stalking or attempting to do any harm to the children in our area,” he wrote in an e-mail.

McCullough said parents who have concerns about their children’s safety should contact the police.

On that note, he also suggested parents encourage their children to tell them about any suspicious activity or people they see.

“The parents can then determine whether or not the circumstances warrant the police being notified,” he wrote.

This story is really scary, and has had everyone worry.
It seems that little highschoolers thought it would be funny to play a prank on there parents and teachers so that school would start again. What a sick joke! That wasn't funny at all. Just know were your children are cause there are obvoiusly sick people in this world that would start this to begin with.
