I kind of noticed that when I watched the games at times. These people who participate with these games should be really proud that they were even there because not everyone who trys to get there, make it or even come close. There is only a few select who actually make it to the Olympic Games and the fact that they got there should be satisfying enough.
It seems like good sportsmanship is not really emphasised like it was twenty years ago. Everything with sports has become personal and more of a fight then a sport. Whatever happened to just giving it your all and living with that?
I have seen how High School Coaches can belittle their teams because they lost. They could have only lost by one point and end up getting the riot act read to them. All one can do is try! There is no fun left anymore when it gets to be a war for the teams.
