The Bay Area Rotary Club is expanding the age limit for those needing vaccinations in its annual Shots for Tots and Teens program.

The Bay Area Rotary Club will host its annual Shots for Tots and Teens special immunization clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Coos County Health Department office, 1975 McPherson Ave. in North Bend.

The program began as Shots for Tots in 2002 and focused on children 2 years and younger. This year, the Bay Area Rotary Club-sponsored program will cover all children 18 and younger who either are not insured, or have insurance that does not cover the cost of immunizations. Shots for Tots and Teens vouchers are distributed to the Coos County Health Department office in North Bend and the Waterfall Clinic, in addition to at the clinic on Sept. 6.
