Reedsport High School will introduce its athletes to fans Tuesday night, the first of three similar events that also include North Bend on Wednesday and Marshfield on Thursday.
All three events are free to the public.
The Braves Boosters Association will host Meet the Braves night at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Reedsport gymnasium.
Finger sandwiches and refreshments will be provided.
The high school and junior high cross country, cheerleading, volleyball and football teams will be introduced, with some teams participating in drills and scrimmages.
Meet the Bulldogs
North Bend’s Meet the Bulldogs night will start with a hamburger feed from 5 to 7 p.m. at Vic Adams Field. For $4, people will get a hamburger, chips, soda and dessert.
The cheer team will be introduced at 6:15 p.m., followed by the cross country team at 6:25, the volleyball team at 6:35, the girls soccer team at 6:50, the boys soccer team at 7:10 and the football team at 7:30.
The various teams will do a demonstration of their sport or participate in a brief scrimmage.
Meet the Pirates
Marshfield’s Meet the Pirates night on Thursday includes a hamburger feed from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Buck’s Place in Pete Susick Stadium. The hamburger feed is a fundraiser for the Pirate Booster Club.
A frosh football scrimmage begins at 5:30 p.m., the same time the varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams will scrimmage in the Harding Gym.
The cheer team will perform at 6:15 p.m. at Pete Susick Stadium, followed by the dance team at 6:25 p.m. and the band at 6:35 p.m.
All fall athletes and band members will be introduced at 6:50 p.m., starting with the band, then the cheer, cross country, dance, girls soccer, boys soccer, volleyball and football teams.
A varsity and junior varsity football scrimmage begins at 7:30 p.m.
