A 33-year-old man was injured in an ATV accident Friday in Winchester Bay.

According to a Douglas County sheriff’s log, at about 5:31 p.m., a 911 caller reported the accident occurred in the 3000 block of Salmon Harbor Drive.

According to the sheriff’s log, Jim Kirkpatrick, unknown residence, was taken to Lower Umpqua Hospital.

This morning, a nursing supervisor at the hospital said Kirkpatrick was not admitted.
